Based out of Pook Bourne Stud—just east of The All England Jumping Course at Hickstead—Breen Equestrian’s breeding programme is spearheaded by our Stud Manager and qualified AI technician, Greg Le Gear.
Running successfully since 2014, our operation combines Shane and Greg’s invaluable knowledge of mares, stallions, and young stock. With an uncompromising commitment to excellence, we produce world-class sport horses bred in the UK that now compete on the global stage.
Our reach extends beyond the UK, with a partner stud in Ireland managed by Shane’s cousin, John Griffin—breeder of the legendary 5* talent Cos I Can. This partnership makes our elite stallions readily accessible to EU breeders, complemented by our successful breeding operations in Ukraine.
